David Myhill | The Owner of Genesis Home Inspections

David Myhill, the owner of Genesis Home Inspections, became passionate about homes while building a Habitat for Humanity home for hurricane victims in New Orleans.

 

After completing a degree in Economics from Carleton University, he began building log homes and working in the construction industry. He furthered his education with a certificate in Carpentry from Vancouver Island University and graduated from the nationally renowned InterNACHI School of Home Inspectors. He moved to Sault Ste. Marie in 2021 with his family.

He is constantly in the process of enhancing his professional knowledge, taking additional courses, and learning new techniques that enable him to work with cutting edge equipment and technologies. His InterNACHI certification number is #NACHI18100905.

At Genesis we are passionate about what we do. We understand that more than likely our clients are taking one of the biggest steps in their lives by purchasing a home and we want to make sure it is the right purchase for them. We have top of the line equipment such as infrared thermometers and moisture meters to help us uncover any hidden factors in the house. We sit with you at the end of the inspection and go over our findings. We provide a thorough and detailed inspection report with pictures within 24 hours.
